Just a reminder: we’re all at different stages of skill. Please keep that in mind when offering your thoughts about someone’s work. Additionally, please remember that RESPECT is the number one thing to consider when writing a critique. I don’t want to see any name calling, pushing or shoving in the play ground!

Seriously, this is how writing sites work. Someone posts their work: put themselves up on the chop block. It’s your job to help them down by suggesting what they might do to improve, by explaining to them why you reacted the way you did, and what they did really well. Critiquing a piece is a very difficult thing to do—and can be very harmful--and we want our members to trust each other with their work.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read our guide on CCCCONSTRUCTIVE CRITICAL COMMENTS
